Real Estate Research and Data Entry - Ongoing - Upwork

Bear River Capital LLC is a real estate investment company. We actively market (Direct Mail) to Northern Utah real estate owners to buy their properties.

We're seeking a reliable, motivated, skilled and smart person to help us with the research and data entry required to keep our advertising pipeline full.

We procure data that helps us to target prospective investment opportunities, but the data sets are often incomplete. This job is to perform the research to complete each record and enter that data into our system.

The research will mainly be performed on county/city websites and online tools (e.g. maps, county recorder portals, etc.) and data will be entered via a mix of spreadsheets and webforms.

There's currently a backlog of research and data entry to work though; but ongoing, there is ongoing/periodic work needed to keep the system updated and refreshed.

Applicant requirements/expectations:
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Ability to handle/sort large data sets in spreadsheets with confidence.
• Excellent written English (American English) - both grammar and spelling.
• Access to a reliable internet connection with speeds conducive to efficient internet research.
• A Google account and email address for access to shared Drive folders, etc.
• Any experience with real estate in the United States is a plus.
• Project management and communication with the team will be handled mainly through Podio.

Hiring Process:
Top applicants will be asked to complete a small amount of work (5 records) to confirm their ability to perform the work without errors in a timely fashion. This trial task should only take a few minutes to complete.
